Legal Transcription

Our company started out as a medical transcription company in 2005 but soon branched out to include legal transcription in 2007.  Our transition to legal work was smooth and natural for us as we were already experienced with protecting sensitive data and being HIPAA compliant.  Legal transcription now accounts for over 60% of our total workload.

We have experience in a variety of legal fields including workers compensation, criminal, corporate, family, and real estate law.  We regular transcribe legal documents such as depositions, pleadings, court hearings, briefs, and workers compensation, etc.   Files go through a rigorous process to achieve the highest accuracy possible.  The transcriptionist will do his/her best to track down personal names and other challenging terms, and produce an accurate file.  Then, one of our editors will go through the file to further perfect the accuracy of the file.

We can personalize the format to meet your specific needs such as different templates.  For example, we can delete the “ahs” and “ums” or keep them, whatever you prefer.  The final transcript will be in MS Word with proper grammar and as close to perfect as possible—you may need to fill in a few names or unusual terms.

Generally, our rate for legal transcription is $1.25 per audio minute.   You can expect a turn-around-time of 3-5 days for typical files, sometimes faster.  We can guarantee 24 hour service for an additional $.50 per audio minute, or 48 hour service for $.25 extra per minute.  It may be possible on easier on-on-one files to offer you our lowest rate of $1.00 per audio minute.
